About Mark Bennett, LCSW

Over a decade of helping families feel more connected

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) I'm dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate, and effective mental health services for individuals seeking support for a wide range of challenges in southeast Idaho.

I’ve spent more than 10 years working with children, teens, and families in outpatient clinics, schools, and private practice. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when you’ve tried everything you can think of - and things still don’t seem to change.

I offer a therapeutic environment where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to heal and grow. I'll provide steady, practical guidance. We'll look at patterns in your family, identify what's helping and what isn't, and build new ways of relating that feel sustainable.

Clients often appreciate my non-judgmental style and my knowledge in addressing various mental health concerns.

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Extensive experience in child, adolescent, and family therapy
  • Telehealth and in‑person options available
  • Collaborative, strengths‑based, and culturally responsive care

My Approach

Evidence-based care with a calm, practical tone

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I draw from family systems therapy, CBT, and trauma-informed practices. Sessions are collaborative, paced thoughtfully, and focused on changes you can feel at home—not abstract theory.

  • A non‑judgmental space where all voices are welcome
  • Clear goals we define together at the start
  • Skills you can practice between sessions
  • Coordination with schools or providers when helpful

What we can work on together

  • Family conflict and communication
  • Child and adolescent anxiety or mood concerns
  • Behavior challenges at home or school
  • Adjusting to divorce, remarriage, or relocation
  • Grief, loss, and major life transitions

During your free consultation, we’ll explore what’s happening now, what you’d like to see change, and whether my services are a good fit.
